Funding Program

Qatar National Research Fund (QNRF) currently operates two funding programs:

The National Priorities Research Program (NPRP) is the QNRF’s largest funding activity. It is aimed at researchers in academia, industry and the public sector.

The Undergraduate Research Experience Program (UREP) funds student research projects at colleges and universities in Qatar. The projects must be mentored and led by faculty or other researchers.

In each program, QNRF strive for integrity and transparency throughout the submission and review processes and all proposals are independently assessed and peer-reviewed.
